About This Spot

Stepping into Nepali Kitchen Restaurant feels like being welcomed into a quiet, intimate family gathering tucked away in a cozy corner of Akron. The space holds a gentle stillness, where the hum of conversation mingles effortlessly with the warm aromas drifting from the kitchen. It invites you to step away from the rush and settle into an unhurried moment, one where flavors and stories unfold at their own pace.

This neighborhood spot quietly honors Nepal's culinary traditions while leaving room for unexpected twists, like the comforting blend of spices and textures that surprise and soothe in equal measure. Whether it’s the satisfying warmth of tender dumplings dipped in a subtly spicy chutney or the rich, layered notes of a slow-simmered curry, each dish speaks with an earthy authenticity that feels deeply personal rather than polished for the spotlight.

The flow here is unpretentious, much like the friendly smiles that greet you at the door. It’s a place where hospitality is lived through genuine care—a glimpse of shared culture that lingers beyond the meal. Locals come for the familiar comfort, the generous portions, and the quiet joy of a meal that softly honors tradition while embracing community.

As you explore the menu, you’ll find an approachable balance of hearty dishes and fresh vegetarian options, making every visit feel like a new discovery. The atmosphere encourages you to take your time, savoring each bite alongside thoughtful conversation and the occasional burst of laughter. It’s less about formality and more about that rare feeling of being truly nourished—in body and spirit.

The most amazing food I have ever had. We came back both days of our trip. Really great vegetarian options. It truly blew our socks off. 5 stars

Friendly, fast service. Excellent value and delicious food. We ordered two plates of pork momo. The portion size was super generous. The quality was excellent and the chutney had just the right amount of spice. We will definitely come back again.

I go here so often! Best Nepali food I have ever had! Love the pakora, chow mein, chicken tikka masala and momos!

Yum!!! Everything we had here was great. Small little family owned restaurant. When you first come in, there is a bell to ring to be seated if no one is up at the counter. They have a pretty simple menu. We ordered the onion app (can’t recall the name) and it came with this spicy dipping sauce. So good! Then did the chicken chow mein and curry. Everything was fantastic and tasty. I loved the curry! I did med hot but could have made it even spicier. Parking was all street but easily accessible all front. They also seem to do more take outs. If you stumble upon this place, def try it!

100% Recommend!!!! People are great, food is amazing! I haven’t had one bad experience ordering from here. I order 3-4 times a week. And the best thing is? You really get what you paid for! Everything is reasonably priced! I really hope that Nepali Kitchen takes off. I’ve shared portions to family and they love it!!

It definetely a "hole in the wall" place and the food is excellent and friendly service! As I sat waiting fot my food i was the only non Asian person there which tells me the food is good for the locals which says a lot. Highly recommended!!!

Tried this place yesterday, quickly became my favorite spot in Akron. I intend on going back today. The food was visually beautiful and extremely flavorful. Probably the best international food you can get. The price is extremely reasonable! We got an appetizer, two plates, drinks and a dessert all for a little more than 30$ before tip! Please tip well though because the service is wonderful.
